Before using the Product Feed Health Checker, make sure you’re logged in to your Semrush account.
After you visit the App Center, you’ll see the Product Feed Health Checker home page. From there, click the purple button labeled “Check your Google Shopping feed.”
After you click the button, you’ll have two options—upload a zipped .tsv file in the Google Merchant format or connect a Google Merchant account.
After completing this step, the app directs you to the dashboard, where you’ll see the list of your products.
Step 2: Checking Your Products
Click on any product in your list, and it will expand to show you more details about the product.
In the product details, you’ll see the health score and a brief analysis of the product’s current state and performance.
You’ll also see three tabs for Content, Keyword Ideas, and PDP Overlap.
Under the Content Tab, you’ll see details for the description, images, videos, title, and Flesch reading score.
One of the upcoming features is the Keyword Ideas tab, under it you’ll see a list of recommended keywords you can include in your product description or title.
Under the PDP tab, you’ll get a list of potential listings with duplicate content. The percentage tells you how much of an overlap you’re experiencing in duplication.
Step 3: Filtering and Searching for Products
If you have a long list of products and you are looking for a specific item to check the status of, you can use the search bar in the top left corner to find your item.
